Why Safe Harbor Home Watch NJ?

We launched Safe Harbor to offer homeowners an extra set of eyes on their most prized asset. Safe Harbor offers a trustworthy solution for home and property inspection and maintenance. We recognized a need in our community that there is a vacuum of premier quality home watch services that prove to be a valuable resource for a homeowner. There is an abundance of “reactionary” services providing handyman, electrical, plumbing, etc., but there is not a proactive service that focuses on your home to prevent or minimize what can be costly problems in your home.

We offer personalized services that provide assurance and protection for your home through regularly scheduled on-site visits. Learn more about our customizable program services that will fit your needs on our services link.

Safe Harbor is fully insured, and bonded. We are also Accredited by the National Home Watch Association. We are a fully Registered Business with the State of New Jersey and a Licensed business in the Municipalities we serve.

Safe Harbor Home Watch Owners

Tod Moran

Tod Moran is a lifelong Monmouth County resident. Tod was raised in Oceanport and attended Red Bank Catholic & the University of Delaware. Tod worked through his teenage summers as a lifeguard on the beaches of Sea Bright and later moved on to construction. He started out framing houses and quickly worked his way to site foreman for a general contractor gaining knowledge in all aspects of home building. Wall Street was then home for 30 years where Tod excelled in the competitive landscape of Commodities trading. The experience working for both a general contractor and Wall Street honed his attention to detail. The idea of starting a property services company was always in the back of his mind. Tod started practicing this passion for Home Watch, first, as a favor to friends and now offering a professional Home Watch Service. Tod remains active in the community helping by starting a soup kitchen in Asbury Park, coaching youth football, and volunteering with numerous coastal clean-up organizations such as Clean Ocean Action and the Surfrider Foundation.

Peter graduated from Temple University and further received his MBA from Fordham University. He spent his professional career in finance while always working on home maintenance projects as a weekend passion.

Safe Harbor will donate a portion of net profits to Stephy’s Place, a charitable organization in Red Bank.
